My therapeutic approach
In my work with parents and children, the relationship is at the center. Every child develops in close connection with their caregivers, and difficulties often become visible not only in the child’s behavior but also in the way parents and child interact with each other. Together, we look more deeply at what might be hidden behind the symptoms and explore ways in which understanding, safety, and trust can grow.
I offer individual and group psychotherapy as well as infant–toddler–parent psychotherapy. It is important to me to create a safe and protected space where feelings can be consciously perceived, understood, and shared. In this way, new possibilities for growth and change can emerge.
My approach is shaped by the conviction that human beings always exist in relationship — to others and to the world around them. For me, psychoanalytic work means listening carefully to what is not immediately visible or easy to put into words, and working together to understand what a child or a parent might be expressing through it. In this way, inner tensions, needs, and wishes can be better recognized. Development then means getting to know oneself in new ways, engaging in living contact with others, and discovering new possibilities for one’s own life.
